The closed morning session addressed such questions as: (a) How can the Brazilian model for Internet Governance inform the global Internet Governance debates? What can be learnt specifically from examples such as the Marco Civil and the Brazilian Internet Steering Commitee?; (b) What are key elements of the German debate on internet governance, privacy, and security and how can they inform global debates?; (c) How can Brazil and Germany cooperate on the path towards a new framework for Internet Governance?; (d) How can Brazil and Germany cooperate with and involve other countries whilst pursuing the goal of enhancing Internet Governance? What is the role of the jointly proposed and approved UN Resolution in this context?
