Fabro Steibel has 10 years experience working with new technology, media policy and human rights in Brazil, Europe and globally. He has a PhD in media policy supervised by Prof Stephen Coleman (at the Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds), he is a Post-doc in Media Studies at UFF (Brazil) and is currently interested on online consultation projects. His recent projects include online consultation portals funded by SiRC, IDRC, Mercosul, Ford Foundation, and Unesco. He is a Project Coordinator at ITS, professor at ESPM-RJ where he teaches advertising, and is the Independent Research of Brazil for the Open Government Partnership.
